In honor of Adopt a Shelter Pet Day on April 30, Zignature Food for Dogs is partnering with Michelson Found Animals Foundation Adopt & Shop, 4235 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City, to support families who adopt dogs from the shelter on Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28.
Each family will receive a voucher for an Adoption Kit filled with:
- A four-pound bag of Zignature Goat or Guinea Fowl Formula dry kibble
- A 12-ounce can of Zignature Goat or Guinea Fowl Formula
- Three sample bags of Zignature dry kibble formulas
- A coupon for another free four-pound bag of Zignature dry kibble that can be redeemed at a local retailer
- A measuring cup for the dry food
According to Pets Global, which owns Zignature Food for Dogs, there are more than 1,600 dogs in Southern California shelters alone.
“Finding forever families for these wonderful animals is our number one priority,” said Aimee Gilbreath, executive director for the Michelson Found Animals Foundation. “We are excited to partner with Zignature on preparing these shelter dogs for success when they start their new lives in their forever homes.”
National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day
National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day is observed every year on April 30. The day was create to raise awareness of the thousands of pets that are waiting for adoption from shelters across the country.
Pets Global is a family-owned holistic wellness pet food company based in Southern California. Its products are sold in more than 5,000 stores nationally. In addition to Zignature, they also sell Fussie Cat products.
Zignature pet food is “designed to mimic what pets used to thrive on in the wild hundreds of years ago,” according to their news release. Zignature recipies have a limited number of ingredients that avoid common allergens like corn, wheat, soy, dairy and chicken.
