People magazine and Pedigree are sponsoring the world’s cutest rescue dog contest.
The contest is open from July 10 to 30. To enter, all you have to do is upload a photo of your dog in the online submission form. After filling out your contact information, tell the judges how adopting a dog changed your life — and theirs. Be sure to identify the rescue organization that helped you find your best furever friend.
After all the submissions have been received, People magazine editors will select 10 finalists. Readers will narrow the candidate pool down to three and the winner will be chosen by People, Pedigree and celebrity judges.
The judges are LeAnn Rimes, a two-time Grammy Award winning singer; Olivia Munn, an actress; Melodie Bolin, director for Marketing operations at Mars PetCare US; and Kelli Bender, an editor at PEOPLE Pets, PEOPLE Magazine and PEOPLE.com’s “vertical dedicated to all things animal.”
The World’s Cutest Rescue Dog will be announced in October, live on the Today Show with Kathie Lee & Hoda. The winning dog will receive a custom photo shoot, a feature in People magazine and on People.com, a year’s supply of Pedigree dog food and a $1,000 donation to the pet rescue organization of the winner’s choice.
